Favorite Burger Recipe

One of my favorite burger recipes is also very simple, I call it "The Sue Special"

1 lb. Ground Beef

1 Package of Onion Soup (powder)

Mix but do not over mix, over mixing will lead to a very dry burger

Put on the grill or in a frying pan

Dress with your favorite condiments

Wholewheat buns are a great alternative to the white buns but use your preference

I like to get creative and dress it up with a slice of mozzarella, bacon, canadian bacon or taylor ham, sliced pickled jalapenos, fried egg, potato sticks and mayo - pure decadence!

Holiday Snack Bar - Long Beach Island, NJ

The Holiday Snack Bar in Long Beach Island, NJ is one of my most favorite burgers places.  The burgers are tasty, the menu is simple and the service is quick!  Everyone sits in a three quarter circle type food counter with the desserts on display in the middle - and the desserts are amazing!  The Holiday Snack Bar has been in existence for 62 years.

My usual order is a double with cheese, lettuce and tomato on the side and fries.  My boyfriend orders two singles and sneaks my fries.
