Grilled Cuban-Style Burgers

These flavorful Cuban-style burgers are simple to prepare and are made by combining ground beef with chorizo sausage. It's best if you can get ground chorizo, but if you can only find it in sausage casings then you will need to remove the casings. Not a difficult operation. This burger leaves it up to you to fill in the toppings and condiments. What I like on this is some mild mustard (you don't want to over do it) and an Anaheim pepper. You split open the pepper and cut it into thin strips. Anaheims are a mild pepper but loaded with great flavor.

INGREDIENTS:

* 1 pound ground beef
* 1/2 pound ground chorizo
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 2 cloves minced garlic, optional
* 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
* 6-8 deli rolls

PREPARATION:
Preheat grill for medium heat. Combine meat and spices in a large bowl. Form into 6-8 patties, about 1/2 inch thick. Place on grill and cook 6 minutes per side. Remove from grill and serve on deli rolls with favorite condiments.

Try mild chili peppers, mustard, fresh tomatoes and thin slices of onions.

In-N-Out Burger - Incredible!

In-N-Out Burger - one of the best non fast food - fast food burgers on the West coast - you lucky people! What I love about In-N-Out Burgers is their commitment to 100% fresh ingredients. Starting with their hamburgers, made from 100% pure beef, no additives, fillers or preservatives of any kind. The lettuce is hand-leafed, real American cheese, the french fries are cut from fresh potatoes right on the spot and they even bake their own buns. There's no heat lamps, no microwaves and no freezers - every burger is made one at a time, cooked fresh to order. You might wait in the drive-through line a few minutes longer than most fast food places but it's well worth the few minutes. If you get the fortunate opportunity to taste an In-N-Out Burger order the "Double Double" animal style.

Hamburgao is Portuguese for BIG Hamburger!

Hamburgao - one of the YUMMIEST burgers in North Jersey!

After trying one of these incredible tongue tickling treats your taste buds will never be the same. These hamburgers are hefty, and not because of the meat... They are stacked mile high with beef, mozzarella, ham, bacon, fried egg, pieces of corn, lettuce, tomato, mayo and potato sticks are all improbably wedged between the bun. And did I mention HUGE?!
These burgers
are
HUGE!
